What is the Affordable Connectivity Program?

The ACP is a federal government program that provides a benefit on eligible prepaid wireless service for qualifying households, decreasing your bill by up to $30/mo., or up to $75/mo. off your service if you reside on qualifying Tribal lands.
Am I Eligible for the ACP benifits?

A household is eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program if the household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, or if a member of the household meets at least one of the criteria below:

  • Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year;
  • Meets the eligibility criteria for a participating provider's existing low-income internet program;
  • Participates in one of these assistance programs:
  • Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program, including at U.S.
  • Department of Agriculture (USDA) Community Eligibility Provision schools.
  • SNAP
  • Medicaid
  • Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program (Section 8 Vouchers)
  • Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA)/202/811
  • Public Housing
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • WIC
  • Veterans Pension or Survivor Benefits
  • or Lifeline;
  • Participates in one of these assistance programs and lives on Qualifying Tribal lands :
  • Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance
  • Tribal TANF
  • Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations
  • Tribal Head Start (income based)
  • Affordable Housing Programs for American Indians, Alaska Natives or Native Hawaiians

What is the National Verifier?

  • The federal government’s National Lifeline Eligibility Verifier (National Verifier), managed by Universal Service Administration Company (USAC), is a centralized system that determines Lifeline and ACP eligibility. To apply for the Affordable Connectivity Program, you can access the National Verifier by visiting affordableconnectivity.gov or calling 877.384.2575 and requesting an application be mailed to you. AT&T PREPAID does not determine eligibility for ACP

How do I get assistance with my Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) benefit?

  • If you are experiencing any problems with your ACP benefit, please call us at the LTE WIRELESS ACP Center (877-388-2232). You or anyone in your household has the option to file a complaint against any participating ACP provider) via the Federal Communication Commission’s Consumer Complaint Center. See fcc.gov/complaints for the process to register a complaint or call 833-926-4568.

What if I live on Tribal lands

  • Qualifying customers who live on federally recognized Tribal lands may be eligible for a Tribal discount of up to $75/mo. To find out if you qualify for the Tribal discount, visit ACPBenefit.org or call 877.384.2575.

How long will it take to get a response from the National Verifier?

  • The quickest way to apply is online. In some cases, responses will be in a matter of minutes, but it’s possible it can take several days before you receive a response.

Why was my Affordable Connectivity Program National Verifier application denied?

  • LTE WIRELESS does not determine eligibility for the federal government Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) and will not know why any participant’s application might have been denied. Please go to ACPBenefit.org or call 877.384.2575 for application status.
